In political science, political awareness understands “the values ​​that are effective in a society and the associated forms and contents of argumentation and interpretation in relation to social, economic and political conditions” ( Sontheimer ).

Political awareness is not a uniform, self-contained entity. It is difficult to differentiate between attitudes towards other areas of life to which general consciousness relates.
