Wolfgang Pollanz (born May 31, 1954 in Graz ) is an Austrian writer , publicist and musician .

Life

Wolfgang Pollanz lives in Wies in Styria , where he helped found the Sterz magazine in 1977 . From 1980 to 1981 he was the singer and lyricist of the Austrian group The Isolierband . He has been the program designer for the Kürbis Wies cultural initiative since 1987 and founded the Edition Kürbis publishing house in 1989 . Since 1999 he has also been running the music label pumpkin records . In 2013 he received the Hanns Koren Culture Prize of the State of Styria for his diverse cultural commitment.
