Polonia Music Festival
The Polonia Music Festival is a music and cultural event for Poles living in Germany . With three locations in Hamburg ( Barclaycard Arena ), Frankfurt am Main ( Jahrhunderthalle ) and a two-day event in Oberhausen ( Turbinenhalle ), it is the largest Polish cultural event outside of Poland. The hottest Polish artists and bands perform at the events. In addition to the music, visitors can enjoy Polish specialties and drinks.
History and line up
2015
In 2015 the Polonia Music Festival took place for the first time in the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen. The main artists included Michał Wiśniewski ( Ich Troje ), Weekend , Mateusz Mijal.
2016
A year later the event was held on three stages. Artists like: Doda , Stachursky , Big Cyc , Boys , Weekend , Sobota performed on the rock / pop, disco, polo and hip-hop stages . According to the organizer, all tickets were sold out.
2017
Since the festival in Oberhausen was sold out in 2016, it took place over two days for the first time in 2017. The superstars in 2017 in Oberhausen were Akcent , Cleo , Kamil Bednarek , Czadoman , Weekend , Liber , and many others.
In addition to the event in Oberhausen, the Polonia Music Festival in Frankfurt am Main took place in the Jahrhunderthalle for the very first time. Bajm , Weekend and Stachursky were invited to the opening .
2018
In addition to the events in Oberhausen and Frankfurt, Hamburg was added as a third location. The festival took place in the Barclaycard Arena, where artists such as Beyonce, Bruno Mars or Kiss have already played their concerts.
The top stars at all three festivals in 2018 were: Bajm , Ich Troje, Kombi, Kamil Bednarek, Sławomir , Weekend , Akcent , Classic, and 15 others.
