Lee Kangin ( Hangul : 이강인 ; Hanja : 李康仁 ; and Kangin Lee * 19th February 2001 in Incheon ) is a South Korean football player who in midfield for FC Valencia plays.

Club career

Lee Kang-in was born in Incheon United's youth . In July 2011 he joined the academy of Valencia CF.

On October 30, 2018, he made his debut for the club's first team. He started and played 83 minutes in the 2-1 win over CD Ebro in the Copa del Rey .

Lee made his league debut on January 12, 2019 in a game against Real Valladolid at the age of just 17. He became the youngest non-Spanish and youngest Asian player in Valencia CF. In July 2018, Lee received his first professional contract, which is valid until 2022.

National team

He played for the U-20 national team of South Korea . At the U-20 World Cup in 2019 , he was runner-up with the team. For his performance at the tournament, he was awarded the Golden Ball for best player .

On March 22, 2019, he made his debut for the senior team in a 1-0 friendly win against Bolivia .
