World polo championship 1987
The first polo world championship took place in 1987 in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires . Teams from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Mexico and Spain took part. All five teams competed against each other, the world champion, host Argentina, was determined according to a simple point table.
