Ponal is a brand for adhesives , especially white glue, from the Henkel Group based in Düsseldorf . The range includes wood glue , adhesives for parquet and laminate as well as wood and wood-based panels with other materials.

history

Initially, they turned to the furniture industry and the carpentry trade, and later, with smaller containers and dosing bottles, especially to do-it-yourselfers.

1959 saw the market launch of "Ponal wood glue", a polyvinyl acetate glue (PVAc).

In 1977 the fast-setting “Ponal Express” (PVAc) appeared.

In 1979 “Ponal wood glue” came onto the market in a waterproof version.

In 1995 a parquet system was added.

In 2002 the range was expanded to include wood combination adhesives.
