history
The station went into operation on February 3, 1934 when the section of Line 9 from the Porte de Saint-Cloud station to the Pont de Sèvres station opened. Since then, it has been the western terminus of line 9.
Node in the public transport network
It is not only possible to change to line 2 of the Paris tram at the "Musée de Sèvres" tram stop, about 200 meters away, but the neighboring bus station is also served by more than a dozen bus routes.
Expansion plans
In 2020 the station is to become the western terminus of the first section of the planned line 15 , which is to be built as part of the Grand Paris Express project . The transition from one metro line to the other will be through a 100 m long connecting corridor.
