Ponte Florentino Avidos

The Ponte Florentino Ávidos is a bridge in the Brazilian city of Vitória (Espírito Santo). It was the first connection between the Ilha de Vitória and the Brazilian mainland.

The components of the bridge were imported from Germany and assembled on site. Work began on April 19, 1926. In 1927, under the reign of Governor Florentino Ávidos , it reached the port of Vitória. Today it bears the name of the politician.

The bridge has a total length of 682 meters and stands on 25 river pillars .
