Daniel (real name Milan Popović ; born October 29, 1958 in Titograd , Yugoslavia ) is a Yugoslav singer , guitarist , bassist and songwriter .

biography

The son of a Belgian mother and a Yugoslav father worked successfully as a studio musician in Zagreb .

His debut album Daniel was released in 1982 . This was followed in 1983 by participating in the Eurovision Grand Prix . With his own composition Džuli he reached 4th place (125 points). The song then appeared in English under the title Julie and became a chart hit in some European countries.

Up until the 1990s there were a number of other publications, which, however, received no international attention. After a long break, the album Fantazija was released in 2013 .
