Doris Dragović

Dorotea "Doris" Dragović (born April 16, 1961 in Split ) is a Croatian singer .

In the 1980s she became famous as a member of the band More . In 1986 she started her solo career. In the same year she represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 in Bergen ( Norway ) with the song Željo moja (in German: My wish ). She reached the 11th place.

Thirteen years after her performance in Bergen, she started again in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999 , this time for Croatia.

Her dramatic song Marija Magdalena reached 4th place, the second best result in Croatia to date.

Doris is married to the former Croatian water polo player Mario Budimir.
