Nina Kraljić (Croatian pronunciation [nîna krǎːʎitɕ]; born January 1, 1992 in Lipovljani (near Kutina )) is a Croatian singer . She won the first edition of the talent show The Voice - Najljepši glas Hrvatske and represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm , where she finished 23rd.

Life

In 2009 she took part in the Croatian variant of the super talent , where she reached tenth place. However, she only gained national fame through her victory in the 2015 casting show The Voice Hrvatske , which she won with over a million votes in Jacques Houdek's team. Her debut single Zaljuljali smo svijet was released in August 2015.

She was selected internally by Croatian television HRT in February 2016 to represent the country on his return to the ESC after a two-year break. The contribution Lighthouse , written by Andreas Grass and Nikola Paryla, was released on March 9, 2016th

Kraljic won the Barbara Dex Award in 2016, which honors the worst outfit.
