Lado Leskovar

Vladimir "Lado" Leskovar (born March 23, 1942 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian singer.

He became known as a Yugoslav interpreter at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1967 . He finished eighth with the song Vse rože sveta , a composition by Urban Koder and text by Milan Lindić . He works as a journalist for Radio Televizija Slovenija . In 1998 he became the UNICEF ambassador for Slovenia. In the parliamentary elections in 2008 , he ran as a candidate for the Zares party .
