Snežana Beric

Snežana Berić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Снежана Берић ; stage name: Ekstra Nena or Extra Nena ; * 1960 in Belgrade , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian singer.

Snežana Berić received her training at the Josip Slavenski music school in Belgrade. She was known in Yugoslavia by her stage name "Extra Nena" and received more than 20 awards at various national music festivals.

In 1992 she represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö , Sweden . With her song Ljubim te pesmama (I kiss you with songs) she came in 13th. She was the last singer to start for the state of Yugoslavia.

In the 1990s she continued to enjoy success in Serbia, releasing a number of albums. Her last album to date , Samo tvoja , was released in 2007. She then withdrew from the Serbian music scene, completed her doctorate in economics and now works as a lecturer for intercultural management and management in art and music at the private megatrend university in Belgrade.

In December 2019, after a twelve-year break with Marioneta, a new album by Extra Nena was released.
