Popi Maliotaki ( Greek : Πόπη Μαλλιωτάκη) (born October 16, 1971 in Ierapetra on Crete ) is a Greek singer.

Life

Maliotaki grew up in Ierapetra . She started her career at a very young age and has worked with many well known singers. In 2005 they released their debut album Aparetiti agapi mou in folk - pop style. The album reached the 13th place in the AEPI music catalog. In 2007 she was awarded a gold record for her second album Alli mia fora . In 2008 she appeared in two episodes of the television series Ola 7even and an episode of TV tiglon . In Greece , prepaid cards were used for cell phonespublished with her picture. In total, she has released three albums and several singles. After the success of her last album, she hosted an Internet television series with Katerina Lascaris. In December 2008, she murdered her husband, the entrepreneur Babis Lazaridis, which was widely reported in the media in Greece.

Maliotaki has been married twice and has a daughter and a son.
