Multiple rolls of Kodak Portra 160

Kodak Portra describes a series of color negative films published by Kodak Alaris in 1998. Portra is available in film speeds of 160, 400 and 800.

Until 2010 there was a version with ISO 400 for the variant with natural colors ("natural color" or NC) and a version with lively colors ("vivid color" or VC). Until 2011, this distinction also applied to the Portra 160 film.

application

According to the manufacturer, Kodak Portra is characterized by the natural reproduction of skin tones with a comparatively low grain size and is therefore particularly suitable for use in portrait and fashion photography .

Formats

All three variants are available as 35 mm film and as roll film in 120 format. Portra 160 and Portra 400 are also available as sheet films for large format cameras in sizes 4 "× 5" (10.2 cm × 12.7 cm) and 8 "× 10" (20.3 cm × 25.4 cm).
