from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Popilius Pedo Apronianus († 204/206) was a Roman politician and senator of the 2nd century AD.

Pedo probably came from a patrician family and was probably a grandson of Gaius Popilius Carus Pedo , who held the suffect consulate in 147 . Pedo himself held the ordinary consulate in 191 . In the 204/205 (or 205/206) year of office, he was proconsul of the Province of Asia . While he was still in office, he was sentenced to death for lese majesty.
