Port salute

The Port Salut , including Port-Salut written is a French cheese from cow's milk . It is made in the north-west of France and is one of the so-called Industriel cheeses that Bel produces on a large scale .

The cheese's dough is ivory-colored and hardly emits a smell. The dough is creamy, soft and smooth. It is matured for a month. Cheeses with a diameter of 20 centimeters and a height of four centimeters are on the market. The fat content in the dry matter is about 50%.
