Ownership

The Port of Tauranga Limited is 54.94% controlled by Quayside Securities Limited , which is 100% owned by Quayside Holdings Limited . With a 90.92% stake in Quayside Holdings , the Bay of Plenty Regional Council , based in Whakatāne , west of Tauranga , controls the port of Tauranga . The remaining shares of 45.06% in Port of Tauranga Limited are spread over free float.
