As portal Tombs be megalithic on the British Isles referred to in which two equally high upright stones therebetween with a door stone which form the front of a chamber which is covered with a massive part endstone. All the complexes, numbered from west to east, fell victim to early Christian destruction. There are three systems in each case in separate fields. They are an Irish national monument .

Field 1

The first grave is an enormous portal tomb with a double deck stone. The upper capstone has been tilted over the portal stone. Tomb 2 is a small grave about 15 meters east of grave 1. Another 15 meters away is grave 3, which is slightly larger than number 2.

Field 2

The fourth monument lies collapsed in the western corner of the second field. All that remains of grave 5 is the large capstone that rests against a single portal stone. In the eastern corner of the field is the sixth portal Tomb, which like grave 1 had a double deck stone. Both were impressive examples of dolmens of this type, facing east.

100 m west of the Tombs portal there is a menhir next to a cairn in line with the graves .
