history
The station began operating on April 26, 1931, when the section of Line 10 (now Line 7) from Place d'Italie station to Porte d'Ivry station opened. On the same day, the routing of several lines in the south of Paris was changed, in which line 7 took over the southern section of line 10. Until May 1, 1946, the station was the southern terminus of line 7. On December 16, 2006, the tram stop above ground went into operation.
