La Courneuve - May 8, 1945 is an underground station of the Paris Métro . It is located below the Avenue Paul Vaillant-Couturier and the Place du 8 Mai 1945 in the Paris suburb of La Courneuve and is served by Métrolinie 7 . You can change to line 1 of the Paris tram at the above-ground tram stop of the same name.

The station began operating on May 6, 1987 when the last section of Line 7 from Fort d'Aubervilliers station to the station opened. Since then it has been the northern terminus of line 7. On July 6, 1992, the stop of tram line 1 went into operation.
