The Porters Pinnacles are a group of low and icy reef rocks off the north coast of West Antarctic Thurston Island . They are 6.5 km north of the eastern foothills of Glacier Bight .

They were discovered during the United States Navy's research voyage into the Bellingshausen Sea in February 1960. They are named after Commander Philip Wells Porter Jr. (1919–2011), captain of the icebreaker USS Glacier , who made this discovery.
