Požerūnai , formerly Poscherun , is a village in Lithuania . It belongs to the district of Tauragė and within it to the Tauragė district. It is located south-west of the city center in its geographical center on the A 12 motorway ( Europastraße 77 ).

On December 30, 1812, the Prussian Lieutenant General Yorck and the Russian General Diebitsch concluded the Tauroggen Convention at the mill there . It was agreed through them that the Prussian auxiliary corps, which belonged to the French Northern Army, should remain neutral.
