Posie Graeme-Evans (born Rosemary Graeme-Evans around 1952 in Great Britain ) is a British writer , screenwriter and producer .

life and career

The daughter of a writer and a Royal Air Force pilot grew up in Europe , Asia and Australia . She spent most of her youth in Tasmania .

She started her career with smaller jobs behind the scenes in Australian and New Zealand television productions. Her breakthrough came in 1987 with the Australian drama series Rafferty's Rules , for which she worked as a producer. She then took on the creative direction of numerous other series such as the children's program Elly & Jools and the mini-series Mirror, Mirror .

From 2001 to 2009 she worked as a screenwriter and executive producer on the successful Australian series McLeod's Daughters . From 2005 to 2006 she also produced the series The Alice .

She began her writing career in 2002 with the novel The Healer's Oath . This is the start of a book series about a forbidden love in 15th century England.

Posie Graeme-Evans has been married several times and has children.
