The Post-SG Thorn was a German football club from the city of Thorn (Polish: Toruń ) in occupied Poland during the Second World War .
history
The Post-SG occurred in the season 1941/42 in the first class Danzig-West Prussia within the District 3 Bromberg in the Season B to. For the 1942/43 season, the team went to the Bromberg / Thorn district group . After the season 1943/44 the team was then after five games played with 5: 5 points for first place in the table and qualified for the promotion round in Division B for Gauliga Danzig-West Prussia the coming season . Due to the second place in the table within the round, the team could not qualify directly. Nevertheless, the team was able to participate in the Gauliga in the 1944/45 season. In the Gau class Season IV Bromberg , no more games were started.
At the end of the Second World War , Toruń or Thorn fell back to Poland. The association was dissolved.
