The Post- och banks , usually as PK banks abbreviated, was a Swedish bank .

history

The PK-Bank was founded in 1974 as a merger of the state financial institutions Postbanken and credit banks in order to contrast the large Swedish private banks with a strong state institute. In 1989, the bank took over Sveriges investeringsbank , thereby expanding its range of activities to include investment banking . A year later, PK-Bank merged with Nordbanken .
