Postcards (also Staten Island September 11 Memorial ) is the name of a memorial on Staten Island in New York City in the United States .

The sculpture was erected to commemorate the 274 residents of Staten Island among the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing . Construction began on September 11, 2003, and the inauguration took place on September 11, 2004. The work of art is 30  feet (approx. 9 m) high and shows two large postcards. Each of the victims of the terrorist attacks is honored with a 9 × 11 ″ (approx. 23 cm × 28 cm) granite slab with the name, birthday , Place of work on September 11, 2001 and a silhouette of the victim are engraved.
