Postal administration

As postal administrations were in the Prussian postal appointed by the end of 1875 departments of 1821 referred to in terms of cash and accounting not independent, ie without own household ( budget ) were but a post office were allocated. They were considered branch post offices and therefore did not file their own accounts.

With the reorganization of the Prussian postal system in 1850 (establishment of the Oberpostdirektion , etc.) the term "postal administration" disappeared again.

With the foundation of Reich Post in 1871 it was re-introduced and the Post expeditions First Class enclosed.

However, the term finally disappeared when the postal administration was renamed Class II post offices as part of the unification of post and telegraphy on January 1, 1876.
