Potsdam light spectacle

Potsdam Lichtspektakel has been an annual festival of lights in Potsdam since 2016 . For 3 days, well-known Potsdam sights are lavishly staged by illuminations , light art projections, light installations and 3D mappings and national and international artists, designers and lighting designers are invited. Buildings, streets and squares are illuminated, for example the Nauener Tor , Belvedere on the Pfingstberg , Potsdam Museum or St. Nikolaikirche .

In November 2016, the first Potsdam light spectacle with illuminations between the main train station and Nauener Tor with the accompanying market took place in the Dutch Quarter under the title “Een Lichtspektakle”. The initiator is Alice Paul-Lunow with her agency Fine Emotion Event und Marketing GmbH. The 3rd Potsdam light spectacle in 2018 is said to have been seen by 100,000 visitors.
