Povilas Isoda
Povilas Isoda (* 1988 in Igliškėliai , Kapsukas district ) is a left-wing politician , mayor of the Lithuanian municipality of Marijampolė .
Life
In 2004 Povilas Isoda graduated from Igliškėliai secondary school. After graduating from high school, he completed a professional bachelor 's degree at Marijampolės kolegija in 2009 and a master's degree in management at Kauno technologijos universitetas in Kaunas in 2012 . From 2009–2012 he worked as a PR specialist and project manager at the college in Marijampolė . In 2012 he was a sales clerk at UAB “ Agrochema ” and from 2013–2015 assistant to a Seimas member. From 2011 he was a city council member (selected in the local elections in Lithuania in 2011 ), from 2015 Vice Mayor (selected in theLocal elections in Lithuania 2015 ). He has been the mayor of Marijampolė since April 2019 (selected in the 2019 local elections in Lithuania ).
Povilas Isoda is a member of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija and the LSDJS . Since 2017 he has been deputy party chairman of the LSDP and heads the LSDP Marijampolė section.

Isoda is married. He has a daughter with his wife Agnė Isodienė.
