Prays ruficeps is a butterfly ( moth ) from the family of spider moths and bud moths (Yponomeutidae). A German name is not used for the species.
features
The moths reach a wingspan of 14 to 17 millimeters. The forewings are scaled gray-brown, the head is ocher-colored.

Way of life
In contrast to Prays fraxinella , Prays ruficeps is less common, the caterpillars only live in the buds of the common ash ( Fraxinus excelsior ).
