The Prebble Glacier is an approximately 15 km long glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Alexandra chain of the Transantarctic Mountains it flows from Mount Kirkpatrick in a westerly direction to the Walcott Firnfield , which it reaches north of Fremouw Peak .
The northern group of a campaign carried out from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him after the expedition member Michael Maynard Prebble (1929-1998), who helped the group with the expedition preparation and training.
