Presnakov Island (English; Bulgarian Преснаков остров Presnakow Ostrow ) is a rocky island in the South Shetland archipelago, 390 m long and 100 m wide in a southeast-northwest orientation . It is located 330 m west-southwest of Jameson Point and 1.55 km northwest of Ugorelets Point off the west coast of Low Island .
British scientists mapped them in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named them in 2018 after the Bulgarian captain Ivan Presnakow, skipper of the trawler Aurelia , who was responsible for fishing in the waters around South Georgia and around the waters around South Georgia from September 1977 to April 1978 under Captain Ivan Presnakov Had operated on Southern Orkney Islands .
