Pretty cure
Pretty Cure ( Japanese プ リ キ ュ ア PuriKyua , actually: PreCure ) is the name of a franchise of anime television series and films that can be assigned to the magical girl genre. Each of the series contains its own recurring leitmotif, which is directly related to the main characters and is reflected in their names, attacks, etc. (e.g. the music theme in Suite PreCure ♪ or the butterflies in Yes! PreCure 5 ).
TV Shows
Toei Animation has produced all anime television series on this topic since 2004.
The first series, entitled Futari wa Pretty Cure , was made known in Germany under the title Pretty Cure . The second season / series Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart builds on the first season, but like the following series has not yet been released in Germany.
The third animation is an offshoot of the first two and was released in 2006 under the title Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star .
The fourth television series Yes! PreCure 5 , which, like all previous episodes, has around 50 episodes, has been shown on Japanese television since 2007 and is supported by Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo! continued.
On February 1, 2009, the sixth series based on this series, Fresh Pretty Cure! ( フ レ ッ シ ュ プ リ キ ュ ア! , Furesshu PuriKyua! ) With the protagonists Cure Peach , Cure Berry , Cure Pine and Cure Passion , which ended on January 31, 2010 comprised 50 episodes and whose production was also subject to Toei Animation.
From February 7, 2010 to January 30, 2011, the seventh series from the Pretty Cure franchise ran on Japanese television: HeartCatch PreCure! ( ハ ー ト キ ャ ッ チ プ リ キ ュ ア! , HātoKyatchi PuriKyua! ) With 49 episodes, as well as the main characters Cure Blossom , Cure Marine , Cure Sunshine and Cure Moonlight .
The eighth release from the franchise entitled Suite PreCure has been running in Japan since February 6, 2011 ! ( ス イ ー ト プ リ キ ュ ア ♪ , Suīto PuriKyua ♪ ) with 48 episodes, which are seamlessly HeartCatch PreCure! has replaced on his broadcast slot. The main characters are Cure Melody , Cure Rhythm , Cure Beat and Cure Muse .
On February 5, 2012, the ninth season of Pretty Cure started on Japanese television: Smile PreCure! ( ス マ イ ル プ リ キ ュ ア! , Sumairu PuriKyua! ). The story is told in 48 episodes. Here the main characters are Cure Happy , Cure Sunny , Cure Peace , Cure March and Cure Beauty .
The tenth season of Doki Doki! PreCure ( ド キ ド キ! プ リ キ ュ ア , Doki Doki! PuriKyua! ) Was released on February 8th. Cure Heart , Cure Diamond , Cure Rosetta , Cure Sword and Cure Ace take the role of the main role.
The eleventh season appeared with Happiness Charge PreCure! ( ハ ピ ネ ス チ ャ ー ジ プ リ キ ュ ア! , Hapinesu Chāji PuriKyua! ) In February 2014 and celebrated the ten-year anniversary of the series. The protagonists are Cure Lovely , Cure Princess , Cure Honey and Cure Fortune .
In twelfth position is the Go! Princess PreCure (Go! プ リ ン セ ス プ リ キ ュ ア , Gō! Purinsesu PuriKyua ), which has been broadcast since February 2015 and comprises 50 episodes. The main characters are Cure Flora , Cure Mermaid , Cure Twinkle and Cure Scarlet .
In early 2016, the 13th season of the franchise began airing. This season is known as Mahō Tsukai Pretty Cure! ( 魔法 つ か い プ リ キ ュ ア , Mahō tsukai purikyua ). The current main characters are Cure Miracle and Cure Magical , known as the legendary witches, and Cure Felice , the wearer of the legendary Linkle stone Emerald.
In February 2017, the 14th season of Kirakira PreCure a la Mode began. The cures in this season are Cure Whip , Cure Gelato , Cure Chocolat , Cure Custard , Cure Macaron and Cure Parfait .
The 15th season called Hugtto Precure started in February 2018 .
On February 3, 2019, the 16th season called Star Twinkle Precure started in Japan . The cures this season are called Cure Star , Cure Milky , Cure Soleil, and Cure Selene . This season is about space and aliens.
The 17th season started in 2020. The name is Healin 'Good Precure . The main characters are Cure Grace , Cure Fontain, and Cure Sparkle .
