David Pricking

David Pricking (born January 12, 1979 in Engen , Germany ) is a German magician .

Life

David Pricking studied mathematics and computer science in Tübingen. He only came to magic at the age of 16 and joined the Magic Circle of Germany in the Stuttgart district. He started out as a manipulator on the stage, but after a long and serious illness he changed the type of magic and devoted himself to close-up magic . With the magic show "Time" he won first place at the German Magic Art Championships 2014 in the Close Up category and was German champion in this field. In the same year he won the Dutch championships in this category and was the overall winner of all categories in this competition, the Austrian championships and the Swiss championships.

In 2015 he celebrated his greatest success to date and became vice world champion in the micromagic / close-up division. In 2016 he won second place in the international invitation competition Grand-Prix Eterna and only had to admit defeat to the world champion of card art Horret Wu from Taiwan.
