The prills is a term used in process engineering . It is a method of making granular materials, e.g. B. detergents and fertilizers , from water-based solutions or suspensions. By spraying into the head of a tower in rising hot air (approx. 120 to 150 ° C), grains are formed which, after extensive removal of moisture, collect as granules on the bottom of the tower .
