Prime Minister's Awards for Literary Achievement
The Prime Minister's Awards for Literary Achievement is a New Zealand literary award . They were created in 2003 by the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa ( Creative New Zealand ), the New Zealand government's national agency for the development of the arts. Each of the three categories “Fiction”, “Nonfiction” and “Poetry” is endowed with NZ $ 60,000 .
