Primocanale

Primocanale is a regional TV broadcaster in Italy . It broadcasts from Genoa to the entire northern Italian region of Liguria . In Liguria and the neighboring zones it can be received in analogue or via DVB-T , and Primocanale also broadcasts via satellite and via streaming on the Internet .

It is owned by Programmazioni Televisive PTV , owned and edited by Maurizio Rossi , a former politician.

A broadcast vehicle from the broadcaster

An agreement has been in place with the local broadcasters in the individual provinces since 2000 to expand Primocanale's local coverage in the entire region. In July 2008, PTV announced the takeover of the Genoese television broadcaster Telecittà . This was previously owned by Coopsette .

Primocanale's programming is based on local news broadcasts provided by the editorial offices in the respective Ligurian provinces.

On April 15, 2009, the channel Primocanale Sport , which belongs to the media group, went on air. It is the first thematic regional broadcaster in Italy and is based exclusively on sports reports.
