The Prince Andrew School is the only secondary school on St. Helena , the main islands of the British Overseas Territory of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha in the Atlantic . It is located on Francis Plain in the St. Paul’s District .
The school opened on June 5, 1989 and is named after Andrew, Duke of York .
