The private brewery Josef Lang (also Jandelsbrunner ) is a beer brewery in Jandelsbrunn in Lower Bavaria , a town in the Freyung-Grafenau district . In 2008 the brewery had an annual production of 14,000 hectoliters, and it also has a museum.

history

In 1708 the brewery was built by Count Salburg zu Ranariedl; The Prince-Bishop of Passau , Leopold Ernst Graf von Firmian bought it in 1765, in 1802 it went to the Electorate of Passau, then back to the Diocese of Passau and finally to the Free State of Bavaria through secularization .

In 1810 the master brewer Josef Lang bought the brewery. It has been in the family ever since . After a fire completely destroyed it in 1929, the brewery was rebuilt. In the following years, extensions and renovations were carried out again and again.

Brewing process

Drinking water from our own sources is used for all drinks. Malt from Bavarian barley and wheat as well as hops from the growing areas of Hallertau and Tettnang and the brewery's own pure yeast are also used.

Products

The product range includes the Jandelsbrunner Hell beer types . Jandelsbrunner Pils , Jandelsbrunner Weisse , Jandelsbrunner Ur-Weizen , Jandelsbrunner Leichte Weisse , Jandelsbrunner Dunkel , Jandelsbrunner Festbier , Jandelsbrunner Radler , Jandelsbrunner Pils and Jandelsbrunner Doppelbock .

In addition, the non-alcoholic drinks Cola-Mix , Cola , Lemon , Brause Lemon , Orange , Orange Light , apple spritzer , orange juice , apple juice , ACE and table water are produced under the brand name JOLA .

It is bottled in crown cork bottles , screw cap bottles and barrels .

The brewery also has a museum, through which guided tours take place every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in even calendar weeks.
