Sterk private brewery

The Sterk private brewery is a small traditional brewery in Raigering , a district of Amberg in the Upper Palatinate .

On January 30, 1723, the Elector Maximilian Emanuel granted the right to brew brewing to the Electoral Chamberlain and Vice-Governor in Amberg, Johann Tobias Ignatz Nytz, Count von Wartenburg. The rock cellar that still exists today was built back then. It has been owned by the Sterk family since 1894.
