Raigering
Raigering is a district of Amberg in the Upper Palatinate , which is about three kilometers east of the city center.
history
The history of Raigering can be traced in writing from around 1700. At that time Raigering consisted of the two districts of Dorf and Hofmark , which is still the central street today. Raigering has owned a brewery since 1723, and it still exists today ( Sterk Brewery ).
When the formation of parishes began in Bavaria in 1818 , this also had an impact on Raigering. The transition from a cural to a political municipality took place. The community of Raigering was founded in 1822 and dissolved on July 1, 1972 as part of the regional reform. At that time there were 1151 inhabitants in Raigering.
Raigeringer Pandurs
The name Raigeringer Panduren is based on the following of Baronesse von Jeszinsky from Presburg, who was married in 1745 to Count C. J. von Butler, the lord of the castle in Raigering. The followers were named after their original place of origin Pandur or Pandura in Slovenia .
