Heinz Donhauser (born June 22, 1951 in Amberg ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ) and former member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

Life and work

After graduating from school in 1965, Heinz Donhauser completed an apprenticeship as an electrician at Luitpoldhütte AG. From 1969 to 1973 he completed an engineering degree with a focus on energy technology , which he completed as a graduate engineer (FH). Between 1973 and 1976 he studied for a higher teaching post at vocational schools (subject combination: electrical engineering, computer science and Catholic religious studies) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg .

Between 1976 and 1990 he worked as a teacher at the vocational and vocational training school Weiden and at the state vocational and vocational training school in Amberg, most recently as a senior teacher.

Donhauser is Catholic, married and has two children.

Heinz Donhauser began his political engagement in the Junge Union , of which he was district chairman of Amberg-Stadt from 1978 to 1984. He is a member of the CSU and was chairman of the CSU district association Amberg-Stadt between 1988 and 2005. In 1984 he became a city councilor in Amberg for the first time.

From 1990 to 2013 Donhauser was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for the constituency of Amberg-Sulzbach , where he was a member of the Committee for Education, Youth and Sport. He coordinated the issues of vocational training in the group .

Donhauser is first chairman of the prison advisory board of Amberg correctional facility, since 2003 media councilor of the Bavarian state center for new media and is there member of the technical committee as well as deputy chairman of the radio committee and member of the decision-making committee. Between 1998 and 2003 he was the spokesman for the parliamentary advisory board of the State Center for Civic Education. controversy

From 2007 to 2010 Donhauser was a member of the supervisory board of Medi-Globe Corporation . In 2009, the CEO of Medi-Globe Corporation was charged with fraud and tax evasion before the Munich II district court . When pronouncing the verdict, the judge revealed that Donhauser had called him on June 10, 2009 to “find a favorable solution”. Donhauser was neither reprimanded nor reprimanded in any other way by the Presidium of the Bavarian State Parliament . The supervisory board position he had not previously indicated also had no consequences.
