Prix de May
Prix de Mai was a French literary prize donated by Alain Robbe-Grillet .
The first winner in 1958 was Marguerite Duras with the work "Moderato Cantabile". Other award winners were the works “Le traître / The traitor” by André Gorz , “La Gana” by Fred Deux (under the pseudonym Jean Douassot ) and “Je” by Yves Velan .
The jury included Georges Bataille , Maurice Blanchot , Roland Barthes , Marthe Robert and Dominique Aury .
The award ceremony was stopped in 1960.
