Procambarus vasquezae is a crayfish from Mexico.

features

With a maximum length of around 5 centimeters, it is a rather small crayfish. The scissors are relatively large in relation to the body and carry many warts. The color varies between brown and gray, blue-colored specimens are very rare.

Occurrence

The species comes from the Laguna de Catemaco near Veracruz / Mexico.

Aquaristics

Procambarus vasquezae is well suited for keeping in the aquarium . As a potential carrier of cancer plague , however, it must not get into the wild.
