Processor local bus
Processor Local Bus ( PLB ) is a high-speed data bus from the IBM bus system called CoreConnect and is used in PowerPC and related microprocessors . It represents a synchronous standard interface between processor cores and integrated bus controllers and, depending on the application, uses separate 32/64/128-bit data buses.
As part of the CoreConnect bus system, the PLB is mainly used in System on a Chip (SoC).
