Product tester textile

The textile product tester is a state-recognized training occupation in Germany according to the Vocational Training Act .

Duration of training and structure

The training period is usually two years. The training takes place at the training company and vocational school .

Work areas

Textile product testers work in textile production areas and are used there for error detection and troubleshooting. They examine the manufactured goods, determine damage patterns and inform production about the necessary changes. If the fault cannot be repaired, product testers textile mark the goods and classify them accordingly. Textile product testers work in weaving , embroidery and knitting .
