The Professional Golfers' Association of Austria (PGA of Austria) is the Austrian association of professional golfers and sees itself as an association of golf instructors and professional tournament players. The seat is in Vienna .

history

The PGA of Austria was founded in 1980 by Oswald Gartenmaier . In November 2000, the association was accepted as a full member by the umbrella organization PGA of Europe and the training system was recognized at the same time.

education

Three-year training courses to become a PGA certified golf instructor or PGA qualified golf professional with two intermediate exams and a final diploma examination are offered.
