The Professor Glacier ( Polish Lodowiec Profesora ) is a glacier on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows between the Szafer Ridge and the Tern-Nunatak to Martel Inlet , a side bay of Admiralty Bay .
Polish scientists named him in 1980 after Professor Władysław Szafer (1886-1970), a Polish botanist , palaeobotanist and conservationist.
