Szafer Ridge ( Polish Grań Szafera ) is a mountain ridge between 250 and 260 m high on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises up between the Professor and Dobrowolski glaciers on the banks of Martel Inlet .
Polish scientists named him in 1980 after Władysław Szafer (1886-1970), a Polish botanist , palaeobotanist and conservationist.
